Authentic Mexican Tacos
🌮 Real Taco Tip
Double up your small corn tortillas! This prevents the taco from breaking and is the real way they serve them in the streets of Mexico City.
Ingredients
- 500g Carne Asada or Pork Carnitas
- Corn Tortillas (Small)
- Fresh Cilantro (Torn)
- White Onion (Diced)
- Limes (Quartered)
- Salsa Verde or Roja
- Radishes (Slivered)
Instructions
- Cook Meat: Slow-cook pork carnitas or grill seasoned beef until juicy and tender.
- Warm Tortillas: Heat small corn tortillas on a stovetop or dry pan until soft and warm.
- Prepare Toppings: Finely dice onions and prepare fresh cilantro and limes.
- Build Tacos: Place meat in tortillas, top with onion and cilantro, add a dash of salsa.
- Final Squeeze: Serve with a generous squeeze of fresh lime juice and radishes.
