Butter Chicken
🥘 Flavor Tip
For maximum depth of flavor, use high-fat cream and generous amounts of butter. Also, smoke the chicken slightly over charcoal if possible for that 'tandoori' touch.
Ingredients
- 500g Chicken breast (cubed)
- 1 cup Tomato puree
- 100ml Heavy cream
- 50g Butter
- 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
- Spices: Garam masala, Turmeric, Chili powder
- Fresh Cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions
- Marinate: Marinate chicken with yogurt and ginger-garlic paste for 30 minutes.
- Cook Chicken: Pan-fry the chicken until golden brown. Set aside.
- Prepare Sauce: Melt butter in a pan, add tomato puree and spices. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Combine: Add the cooked chicken and heavy cream to the sauce. Cook for another 5 minutes.
- Serve: Garnish with cilantro and serve with hot garlic naan or rice.
