Butter Chicken
🥘 Flavor Tip

For maximum depth of flavor, use high-fat cream and generous amounts of butter. Also, smoke the chicken slightly over charcoal if possible for that 'tandoori' touch.

Ingredients

  • 500g Chicken breast (cubed)
  • 1 cup Tomato puree
  • 100ml Heavy cream
  • 50g Butter
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • Spices: Garam masala, Turmeric, Chili powder
  • Fresh Cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Marinate: Marinate chicken with yogurt and ginger-garlic paste for 30 minutes.
  2. Cook Chicken: Pan-fry the chicken until golden brown. Set aside.
  3. Prepare Sauce: Melt butter in a pan, add tomato puree and spices. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Combine: Add the cooked chicken and heavy cream to the sauce. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Serve: Garnish with cilantro and serve with hot garlic naan or rice.
