Beef Stroganoff
🥩 Meat Secret
Use high-quality beef fillet or sirloin and flash-fry it in a very hot pan! This keeps the meat incredibly tender and prevents it from becoming chewy. Cook in small batches.
Ingredients
- 500g Beef Fillet or Sirloin (Sliced)
- 200g Mushrooms (Sliced)
- 1 Onion (Diced), 2 Garlic cloves (Minced)
- 1 cup Beef Broth, 150ml Sour Cream
- 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard, Smoked Paprika
- Fresh Parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Sear Beef: Fry beef strips in butter over high heat for 1-2 mins until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Vegetables: Sauté onions and mushrooms in the same pan until golden and soft. Add garlic.
- Deglaze: Add beef broth and mustard. Let it reduce by half.
- Combine: Stir in the sour cream and paprika. Return the beef to the pan and warm through (don't boil).
- Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve over buttery egg noodles or fluffy rice.
